Opening day
· Opening DAY will be Saturday March 9th. Please allow time for parking. It will be a full house.
· Ceremony will be held on field 2 at start at 11 AM. PLEASE HAVE TEAMS LINES UP BY 10:30 ON FIELD 4
· There will be Vendors, bounce houses, & Kona ice. Chuck the airbrush guy will be there as well.
Parent Workday
· Parent workday will be Held on Thursday, March 7th from 5-8 PM.
· Volunteers play a crucial role at South Cherokee. We can prepare the park for the season in a terrific way by holding a Parent Workday. Kids are invited to attend and participate. We'll be cleaning up the park generally and planting flowers.
§ Please bring Blowers, Rakes, etc.
Flashlight Easter Egg hunt
· Our Annual Flashlight Egg hunt will be held on March 15th from 6:30-9:30 . This is a great event for Families. Plenty of games and food for everyone!
Team Pictures
· March 26th. Times are TBD. Team mom will inform everyone.
Concessions
· Volunteers are always welcome to help in the concession stand. So, any volunteers would be Greatly appreciated.
END OF SEASON Extravaganza!
· The Park will be Hosting an End of season Extravaganza for all teams.

END OF SEASON TOURNAMENT
· The end of season tournament will be Held May 9th – 11th.
o One time gate fee. 3 Coaches and players are free.
§ This is to Help cover the Umpire Cost.
· Specific times are TBD. Team mom or Coach will Inform you when those are determined.
South Cherokee is undergoing many changes for the better of the park. Our park is strictly run on donations, sponsorships, and volunteers so we depend on fundraising commitments from our players and their parents to do so. All board members are volunteers and not paid positions. Our board members spend countless hours making this park run for the love of the game and the players. We are looking forward to a great season and are happy to have each and every one of you with us.
